My Origin｜創作の原点
While studying Japanese views on life and death at university, I encountered many farewell letters and final messages.
What moved me most was this: in life’s final moments, people rarely spoke about great achievements. Instead, they expressed gratitude for ordinary things — morning light, shared meals, and the changing seasons. This realization became the foundation of my work.
By combining my background in copywriting with my visual practice as an illustrator, I continue creating pieces that gently preserve fleeting moments as quiet memories.
大学時代、日本人の死生観を研究する中で、私は多くの遺書や別れの手紙に触れました。
そこで強く心を動かされたのは、人が人生の最期に思い出すのは大きな功績ではなく、朝の光や誰かと囲む食卓、移ろう季節といった何気ない日常への感謝である、ということでした。
コピーライターとして言葉を紡いできた経験と、イラストレーターとしての視点を重ねながら、日常の一瞬を静かな記憶として留める作品を制作しています。
